Passion
My best friend decided to give me a WORD for this coming year. As we were discussing our plans for the coming year, she listened closely to what I expected to happen in the coming year. She believes that the year 2019 is about my return to my inner most passions. She probably listened to the girlish giggle I let out as I talked about my local adventures. I released a sigh of hope for change to come to my physical, mental, and spiritual health. Then she heard the excitement with which I talked about the next step in my business plans. The determination was laced in my voice, and my friend could hear the beautiful sound it emitted. My WORD: PASSION.
As I listened to my best friend talk about her plans, I could tell she meant business this coming year, but I could also hear a hint of hesitation. I thought and prayed about the WORD that I could give her for 2019. The WORD that came to mind was AWAKENING. Definition: an act or moment of becoming aware of something. I believe this is the year where - through whatever experiences come her way - she will become aware of the next steps in her life and the direction she must take. She will become aware of the place her past has brought her to today, the present in which she is located, and the future she will strive to achieve.
I pray that this year, as we have stated every year, will be our best one yet. Each year that we journey this life together hasn't let us down. We have always come out victorious and stronger than ever because we choose to NEVER GIVE UP!
